Time away, thoughtfully held
First retreats coming · Dates to be announcedStep away from everyday demands and spend meaningful time resting, moving, listening and reconnecting with what matters to you.
COYAMA retreats bring together restorative movement, yoga, sound, meditation, nourishing food and time to explore your surroundings. Every retreat is carefully structured while leaving enough space for you to slow down and experience the place in your own way.
Retreats at home and further away
A meaningful pause,
closer to home
Our UK retreats offer a shorter opportunity to step away without the time and travel required for an international retreat.
Spend a weekend exploring restorative yoga, meditation, sound and gentle movement within a calm, welcoming setting.
Ideal for first-time retreat guests and anyone looking for a few well-spent days away from their normal routine.
Experience COYAMA
in Thailand
Our Thailand retreats create space for practice, rest, exploration and connection within a setting that feels genuinely removed from everyday life.
Alongside yoga, sound and meditation, each programme includes time to experience the landscape, food and culture of the destination.
Each retreat is shaped around the place itself: its rhythm, its food, its light. You will come home having been somewhere, not just having been away.
Space to practise.
Space to rest.
A retreat should offer more than a busy timetable in a beautiful location.
Our programmes are designed with a considered rhythm. Guided practices are balanced with good food, unhurried breaks, shared experiences and time that remains entirely your own.
You can participate fully without feeling pressured to attend everything. The structure is there to support your experience, not control it.
What to expect
Restorative Practice
Explore gentle and restorative movement designed to support comfort, awareness and unhurried attention.
Yoga
Take part in accessible yoga sessions shaped around the group, location and rhythm of the retreat.
Sound
Experience thoughtfully facilitated Sound Baths and complementary sound practices.
Meditation
Use guided and quieter meditation practices to create moments of stillness throughout your stay.
Good Food
Enjoy meals that form part of the retreat experience and create opportunities to gather around the table.
Time of Your Own
Rest, read, explore, swim, walk or simply do very little. Not every meaningful moment needs to be scheduled.
A rhythm rather than a rigid timetable
Morning
Begin with meditation or gentle movement, followed by breakfast and an introduction to the day.
Daytime
Take part in a workshop, explore the location or enjoy time entirely at your own pace.
Afternoon
Return for a restorative session, group activity or quieter practice.
Evening
Share dinner before closing the day with sound, meditation or time together.
Every retreat has its own programme. The final timetable, included activities and free time will be clearly explained before booking.
Come as you are
COYAMA retreats are designed for people with different levels of experience.
You do not need to be flexible, experienced in yoga or comfortable meditating for long periods. Clear guidance and appropriate options are provided throughout.
You can attend alone, with a partner or with friends. Many guests arrive without knowing anyone else, and leave having met people they'll stay in touch with.
A COYAMA retreat is for you if you want to:
- Step away from the pace of everyday life
- Spend more time practising yoga or meditation
- Experience sound in a more immersive setting
- Meet people within a welcoming small group
- Explore a new location with a thoughtfully planned programme
- Rest without having to organise every part of the experience yourself
